OVERVIEW

A concept for an artist-run printmaking cooperative based in Denver, Colorado which hosts workshops, exhibitions, and studio resources for contemporary printmaking practices. Focused around collaboration and a cross-disciplinary approach to printmaking, I created a visual identity to reflect this mission.

LOGO

Printmaking is a diverse medium built around a common goal. Although the process to create a woodblock print, etching, or screenprint may vary, printmaking is ultimately centered around creating hand-crafted art that can be shared with many.

With this shared ethos in mind, I sought to create symbol for OVER PRINT that doesn’t favor one approach to printmaking, but instead captures the common characteristics across these artistic practices.

APPAREL

As with any creative practice, things can get a little messy. For OVER PRINT, I designed a smock and tote bag that keeps both the artists and the artwork clean throughout the creative process.
